Vestibular Stimulation – Caloric, Rotation and Vibration

A full investigation into the functioning of the working of the vestibular system requires stimulation of the patient.

Rotational Chair
The Med 4 rotational chair is an option to our Ulmer VNG recording systems. The chair can be automatically controlled from within the VNG software, providing a number of extra protocols for kinetic testing. The Med 4 chair provides high-speed rotational testing up to 200°/s.



Water and Air Caloric Irrigators
With a choice of air or water caloric stimulation we are able to offer you a complete vestibular investigation package when combined with our Ulmer VNG recorder.



Vibration Stimulation
For the investigation of vibration induced nystagmus, we are pleased to offer the Synapsys VVIB Vibrator.
